At the (un)lucky number 13, here’s the number 1 South American babe, Gisela Dulko!
Gisela Dulko bio
Gisela Dulko is a hot argentinian tennis player who, despite being consistenly ranked between the top-50 in singles for a few years, is mostly recognized as a doubles specialist. She has achieved the world number 1 ranking, which she got for the first time in late 2010.
Gisela Dulko got at least to the third round at all Grand Slam tournaments in singles, and at least to the quarter-finals in doubles.
She has hungarian ancestry. Gisela Dulko moved to Miami when only twelve years old to pursue a professional career.
Her first WTA Tour tournament was in Budapest, Hungary, in 2007, where she beat Sorana Cirstea in the final, and she has a total of four WTA singles titles.
Her prominence in doubles was seen since early on, as she won three of the four Grand Slams, only failing at Roland Garros. Her good friend Flavia Pennetta helped her getting to the top of the doubles rankings, which culminated with Gisela Dulko’s first ever professional Grand Slam title at the Australian Open, in 2011.
Her singles form improved in the middle of the season, as she won her first title since 2007, and 4th overall, in Acapulco.
She is married to football/soccer player Fernando Gago.
