Stefania Chieppa bio
Stefania Chieppa was born in Turin, Italy, in April 5th 1983.
She started playing at the age of 7 and is a right-handed with a double-handed backand.
Stefania Chieppa has a highest WTA singles ranking of 359, reached on July 10, 2006, and is coached by fellow italian, Gualuca Luddi. Her career high in doubles is 204, which she reached on July 9, 2007. She has won two ITF level tournaments in her career, in the 2005 edition of the Getxo tornament (Spain) and in 2006 in Settimo San Pietro (Italy), both in her favorite type of surface, clay.
Stefania Chieppa is also a talented doubles player, winning a total of 15 titles during her career, two in Mallorca (Spain), and all the others in her native coutry, Italy, between 2004 and 2010.
This italian hot tennis player is not being noticed because of her ranking improvement (she is currently outside the top-800). We noticed the interest in her is increasing, maybe because of her activity on social networking website Facebook. Anyway, as a rising interest between the “virtually unknown” hotties, we feel she deserves her own spot at our ranking.
